“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”
“Travelling inspires me, feeds me, fills me.”
Hi, I’m David.
I’m a french self-taught photographer, living in Paris. When I’m not traveling, I work as an IT project manager In Paris.
Though I’m a versatile photographer, I have a particular taste for Landscape and travel photography.
My obsession to keep moving forward in life, has brought me to approximately 50 countries, but my favorite playgrounds remain Russia, Caucasus, Central Asia, and Arctic countries.
In 2011, I moved to Kyrgyzstan with my wife and my 2 young daughters. To this day, I remained in the area for over 3 years exploring extensively throughout the regions of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan & Kyrgyzstan with my family.
During this period, I experienced a 3 months’ trip driving myself an old Russian truck (UAZ Bukhanka) with my family throughout Central Asia countries.
Beginning 2018, I took a sabbatical to explore Western USA (California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah & Colorado) with my family.
My Stories (Sovietisms, Black Blood of Caucasus, Priozersk & the Sary-Shagan Polygon,…) have been exhibited in private galleries in Paris.
