Highlights of Azerbaijan : Decaying oil fields near Baku – Mud volcanoes in the coastal area of Azerbaijan – The village of Khinalug at 2350 metres offering stunning mountain landscapes and plenty of hiking opportunities – The mountain villages Qirmizi Qesebe, Khinalug, Qusar, Lahij and Saribash – The small town of Naftalan near Ganja offers a weird type of spa treatment : you can bathe in Crude Oil ! – You can also bathe in the numerous natural hot pools in the country.
